The wide range reflects uncertainty around market share, profitability, cash generation, competition, battery-cell manufacturing and future capital requirements.

Ola Electric Share Price Target 2026

The near-term outlook for Ola Electric depends heavily on whether the Q1 FY27 recovery continues.

In Q1 FY27, revenue from operations increased 72% sequentially to ₹455 crore, although it remained 45% below Q1 FY26. Vehicle deliveries nearly doubled sequentially to 39,192 units, while Ola’s electric two-wheeler market share recovered from 5.1% in Q4 FY26 to 8.4% in Q1 FY27. Gross margin was 30.5%.

The company’s operating expense base also improved. Consolidated operating expenses declined 22% QoQ to approximately ₹333 crore, while management continues to target a steady-state quarterly operating-expense level of around ₹300 crore.

However, Q1 FY27 still produced a consolidated net loss of ₹336 crore and an EBITDA loss of approximately ₹165 crore. Therefore, a conventional earnings multiple cannot yet be applied confidently to the stock.

For the 2026 scenario, I use FY27 revenue assumptions of approximately ₹2,000 crore, ₹2,700 crore and ₹3,200 crore for the Bear, Base and Bull cases respectively.

2026 Scenario

Revenue Assumption

EV/Revenue

Estimated Target

Bear Case

₹2,000 Cr

4.0x

₹11

Base Case

₹2,700 Cr

5.0x

₹23

Bull Case

₹3,200 Cr

6.5x

₹38

The base-case target is below the latest ₹38.48 market price because the stock is still being valued against a business that has yet to demonstrate sustainable profitability. A higher valuation would require faster volume recovery, better margins and clearer evidence that the cost reset is translating into operating leverage.

Ola Electric Share Price Target 2027

The Ola Electric share price target 2027 depends on whether the company can convert higher volumes into substantially better EBITDA and cash generation.

Management’s strategy includes expanding dealer-led distribution, increasing the use of its own battery cells, leveraging AI to lower operating costs and putting Gigafactory capacity to work across mobility and energy storage.

The company has also been expanding its battery-cell manufacturing platform. Its FY26 annual report states that the Gigafactory had reached 6 GWh of installed capacity, while Ola has developed in-house cell technology covering different chemistries.

For FY28, the scenario model assumes revenue of approximately ₹2,800 crore in the Bear Case, ₹3,800 crore in the Base Case and ₹5,200 crore in the Bull Case.

2027 Scenario

Revenue Assumption

EV/Revenue

Estimated Target

Bear Case

₹2,800 Cr

4.0x

₹19

Base Case

₹3,800 Cr

5.0x

₹36

Bull Case

₹5,200 Cr

6.5x

₹68

The 2027 Base Case of approximately ₹36 assumes meaningful revenue recovery but only moderate valuation expansion. The Bull Case requires both substantially higher revenue and investor confidence that the cell and EV businesses can eventually generate positive operating cash flow.

Ola Electric Share Price Target 2030

The Ola Electric share price target 2030 is considerably more dependent on execution than the 2026 or 2027 targets.

By 2030, the valuation framework can potentially shift from EV/revenue to earnings if Ola successfully becomes profitable.

A particularly important long-term catalyst is the revised ACC PLI framework. The Ministry of Heavy Industries approved revised timelines that give Ola Electric’s cell subsidiary a five-year PLI window through calendar year 2031, potentially unlocking cumulative incentives of up to ₹7,240 crore, subject to meeting the applicable requirements. Ola has stated that it expects to reach 6 GWh of installed cell capacity during 2026.

However, the ₹7,240 crore figure should not be treated as guaranteed revenue or profit. Actual benefits depend on production, domestic value addition, eligibility and compliance with the PLI framework.

For 2030, the model assumes the following EPS outcomes:

Scenario

FY2030 EPS Assumption

P/E Multiple

2030 Target

Bear Case

₹0.40

15x

₹6

Base Case

₹1.40

22x

₹31

Bull Case

₹3.00

30x

₹90

The Base Case therefore produces an Ola Electric share price target of approximately ₹31 for 2030.

The Bull Case of ₹90 is deliberately dependent on multiple conditions occurring together: strong EV-volume growth, improved market share, successful cell manufacturing, meaningful PLI benefits, substantially better margins and sustainable profitability.

The Bear Case does not assume business failure. Operating cash flow improved significantly from negative ₹2,391 crore to negative ₹775 crore, but remained negative.

Q1 FY27 showed sequential improvement: revenue rose 72% from ₹265 crore in Q4 FY26 to ₹455 crore, while the net loss narrowed from ₹500 crore to ₹336 crore.

The important distinction is that sequential improvement is not yet the same as sustainable profitability.

Current Valuation of Ola Electric

At ₹38.48, Ola Electric’s market capitalisation is approximately ₹17,800 crore. Since trailing earnings remain negative, the conventional P/E ratio is not meaningful. The company’s P/B ratio is approximately 5x, while ROE and ROCE remain negative.

Current valuation metrics should therefore be interpreted cautiously.

Valuation Metric

Current Situation

P/E

Not meaningful due to negative earnings

P/B

Approximately 5x

EV/EBITDA

Not meaningful while EBITDA is negative

ROE

Approximately -43%

ROCE

Approximately -21%

Debt/Equity

Approximately 0.8x

Dividend Yield

Nil

The company’s negative earnings make comparison with the industry’s positive P/E ratio less useful. A valuation re-rating would require evidence of sustainable earnings rather than merely higher sales volumes.

Key Factors That Could Drive Ola Electric Share Price

1. Electric Two-Wheeler Volume Growth

Q1 FY27 demonstrated a meaningful sequential recovery, with deliveries rising to 39,192 units. Continued growth would improve factory utilisation and potentially spread fixed costs over a larger volume base.

2. Market Share Recovery

The competitive environment has become considerably tougher.

In August 2026, FADA data showed TVS, Bajaj, Ather and Hero ahead of Ola, with Ola registering approximately 13,852 electric two-wheelers and holding around 7.6% of the monthly market according to reported industry data.

This means market-share recovery is an important variable in the long-term valuation.

3. Battery Cell Manufacturing

Vertical integration into battery cells could improve localisation and potentially reduce battery costs if manufacturing yields and utilisation improve.

Ola’s FY26 annual report describes its Gigafactory as having reached 6 GWh of installed capacity, while management has highlighted in-house cell technology as an important part of the business strategy.

4. PLI Incentives

The revised ACC PLI timeline potentially provides a significant additional economic opportunity through 2031. However, the maximum ₹7,240 crore figure should be regarded as a potential incentive pool rather than guaranteed cash flow.

5. New Products

Ola is expanding beyond its traditional scooter portfolio into motorcycles, lower-priced electric scooters and energy products. Its August 2026 product announcements included the S1 Z and other products built around its battery platform.

6. Cost Reduction

The FY26 reset reduced the company’s operating-cost base. In Q1 FY27, operating expenses were approximately ₹333 crore, down 22% QoQ, with management targeting approximately ₹300 crore of steady-state quarterly opex.

7. Institutional Ownership

As of June 2026, promoters held approximately 32.97%, mutual funds 8.52%, FIIs 4.11% and other domestic institutions around 3.64%. Mutual-fund ownership had increased substantially from 5.14% in March 2026.

This institutional participation is relevant, but it should not be interpreted as proof of future share-price performance.

Capital-Raising Risk

A major development that investors should monitor is the proposed rights issue.

Ola Electric announced that its Board would consider a rights issue on 28 September 2026. The company had previously received approval to raise up to ₹1,500 crore through equity-linked routes and had already raised ₹780 crore through a QIP in June 2026.

As of the analysis date, the size, price and final terms of the proposed rights issue had not been disclosed.

Any new equity issuance can increase the company’s financial flexibility but may also result in share dilution. Consequently, the targets in this article use the current share count and do not assume a specific future rights-issue dilution.

Risks to the Ola Electric Share Price Target

Valuation Risk

The stock remains valued at a substantial premium to book value despite negative earnings. If investors become less willing to assign growth multiples to loss-making EV companies, valuation compression could occur.

Earnings Risk

Ola Electric continues to report substantial losses. Q1 FY27 revenue was still 45% below the year-earlier quarter despite sequential recovery.

Market-Share Risk

The electric two-wheeler market has become increasingly competitive, with TVS, Bajaj, Ather and Hero gaining substantial volumes. Ola’s August 2026 market share was materially below its position in earlier periods.

Cash-Burn Risk

Ola Electric reported negative operating cash flow of ₹775 crore for FY26 and negative operating cash flow of ₹215 crore in Q1 FY27.

Fundraising and Dilution Risk

The proposed rights issue creates uncertainty around the future capital structure. The eventual issue size and pricing could affect per-share value.

Execution Risk

The long-term thesis requires successful execution across electric vehicles, battery cells, energy products, manufacturing and distribution.

Regulatory Risk

The battery-cell business depends partly on government incentive programmes. Although Ola received a revised PLI timeline, actual incentives depend on meeting applicable conditions.

Competition Risk

Traditional automotive companies have significant advantages in dealership networks, service infrastructure, manufacturing scale and customer relationships. August 2026 industry data showed TVS and Bajaj alone accounting for almost half of electric two-wheeler registrations.

Is Ola Electric a Long-Term Growth Story?

Ola Electric has characteristics that could support a long-term growth story, including India’s expanding electric two-wheeler market, its vertically integrated technology platform, battery-cell manufacturing capabilities and potential PLI benefits.

At the same time, the investment case remains dependent on execution.

The company needs to demonstrate that higher vehicle volumes can translate into sustainable EBITDA improvement, positive operating cash flow and eventually positive net earnings. The Q1 FY27 recovery is encouraging from an operational perspective, but the company remained loss-making and cash-flow negative during the quarter.

The competitive environment is another important consideration. Ola’s previous leadership position in electric two-wheelers has come under pressure from TVS, Bajaj, Ather and Hero. Therefore, future growth will depend not only on the overall expansion of India’s EV market but also on Ola’s ability to regain and retain market share.

The long-term valuation could change materially if Ola successfully scales its battery-cell business and converts the PLI opportunity into recurring economic benefits. Conversely, continued losses, market-share erosion, additional capital requirements or weaker-than-expected cell economics could limit valuation.

Therefore, the Ola Electric stock price target should be viewed as a range of possible outcomes rather than a single forecast.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Ola Electric share price target for 2026?

Based on the scenario model used in this analysis, the 2026 Ola Electric share price targets are approximately ₹11 in the Bear Case, ₹23 in the Base Case and ₹38 in the Bull Case. These estimates depend primarily on FY27 revenue growth and the valuation multiple assigned to the business.

2. What is Ola Electric share price target for 2027?

The model estimates an Ola Electric share price target of ₹19 in the Bear Case, ₹36 in the Base Case and ₹68 in the Bull Case for 2027.

3. What is Ola Electric share price target for 2030?

The 2030 scenarios are approximately ₹6 in the Bear Case, ₹31 in the Base Case and ₹90 in the Bull Case. These estimates depend heavily on whether Ola Electric achieves sustainable profitability by FY2030.

4. What factors could affect Ola Electric share price?

Key factors include electric two-wheeler volumes, market share, revenue growth, gross margins, EBITDA improvement, battery-cell manufacturing, PLI incentives, new product launches, cash flow, fundraising requirements and competition.

5. What valuation method is used for the target?

EV/revenue is used for the near-term scenarios because Ola Electric remains loss-making. For 2030, the model uses an EPS × P/E approach because a profitable business can potentially be valued using earnings.

6. What are the major risks to the target?

The major risks include continued losses, negative cash flow, market-share erosion, competition from established manufacturers, execution problems, additional capital requirements, dilution from future fundraising, regulatory changes and weaker-than-expected battery-cell economics.

Final Sanity Check

The latest share price is ₹38.48.

At that valuation, the market is already assigning substantial value to Ola Electric’s future growth despite negative trailing earnings. The 2026 Base Case of ₹23 therefore requires a lower valuation multiple, while the 2026 Bull Case of ₹38 requires continued revenue recovery without a major valuation expansion.

The 2027 Base Case of ₹36 is close to the latest market price and assumes improving revenue but only moderate valuation support.

The 2030 Bull Case of ₹90 requires a much more significant transformation: approximately ₹3 EPS, a 30x P/E multiple, strong EV demand, meaningful cell-business economics and sustained profitability. It should therefore not be interpreted as the expected outcome.

The largest uncertainty in this analysis is the speed at which Ola Electric moves from revenue recovery to sustainable profitability. The company’s pending fundraising decision on 28 September 2026 is another near-term variable that could change the capital structure and therefore the per-share valuation.

Bottom line: Ola Electric’s future share price is likely to remain highly sensitive to earnings improvement, market-share recovery, cash generation and the economics of its battery-cell business. The scenario targets above should therefore be updated whenever the company reports new quarterly results or announces material changes to its capital structure.

Disclaimer: These share price targets are scenario-based estimates for educational and informational purposes only.
